It includes: 2 sheets where children colour the correct number of pictures by looking at the numeral. 2 sheets where children draw more of a picture to match the numeral. 2 sheets where children draw shapes to match the numeral. 2 sheets where children indicate where a numeral would be on a number line. 2 sheets where children can use blocks (or other manipulatives) to count out a certain number of objects. 10 sheets altogether.

This resource is based on balls and would appeal to children who enjoy ball games and like their hobbies to be brought into their class work. The activities will help young children who are beginning to understand place value and are ordering numbers and comparing numbers. Or older children who need some extra help and support in this area. There is a simple outline of a suggested lesson plan including an idea for a starter and ending activity and the resources for these at the end which can be printed and laminated if necessary. - 8 worksheets where children cut out and stick numbers in order. There are 3 worksheets looking at numbers to 10. 3 worksheets looking at a and 2 digit numbers and 2 worksheets looking at numbers up to 3 digits. - 8 worksheets where children cut and paste the number that comes next. 3 of these look at numbers to 10, 3 at numbers up to 2 digits and 2 at numbers up to 3 digits. - 3 worksheets where children partition a number into tens and units. - 6 worksheets where children look at 3 digits they are given and then rearrange them to make the smallest possible number and the largest possible number.

There is a simple outline of a suggested lesson plan including an idea for a starter and ending activity. - 9 worksheets where children look at the denes squares and write down the total in a box underneath. - 6 worksheets where children look at a row of numbers and shade in all the numbers with a particular number in the hundreds, tens or units column. - 3 worksheets where children partition a number into tens and units. - 3 worksheets where children recombine partitioned numbers into one number. An instruction sheet for an ending game using balls, unifix cubes (or other counters as available in your classroom) and hundreds, tens and units tables available as a page at the end for printing.

These activities all have a theme of balls and would be useful for children who enjoy sports related activities and like their hobbies to be brought into their work in the classroom. These activities would be useful for young children or older children with special needs who are learning about the concepts of more and less. There is a simple outline of a possible lesson with a starter and ending activity suggested. Then 3 worksheets where children have to count the balls in two sacks and circle the sack with most balls in. 3 Worksheets where children have to count balls on two sides of a box and insert the correct inequality; or = to show which side has more balls. And 3 worksheets with two number either side of a box in which the children can insert the correct inequality to show which of the two numbers is larger.

These are straight forward counting activities for young children or older children who are finding counting difficult to understand. There is a simple lesson description which includes an idea for a starter activity. 6 worksheets where children match a numeral to a number of balls. 6 worksheets where children count a row of balls and write the numeral. 3 worksheets where children draw a certain number of balls into a box. 3 worksheets where children draw a certain number of balls into a basket. The lesson plan also includes an idea for an ending activity and number cards, and picture number cards at the end which can be laminated for this activity if necessary.

The activities will help young children who are learning to count in 2s or older children who need some extra help and support in this area. There is a simple outline of a suggested lesson plan including an idea for a starter and ending activity. - 3 worksheets where children count the pairs of balls and write the number in a box. Then colour the number in a number grid at the bottom and look to see if they can spot a pattern. - 3 worksheets where children count the number of bounces a ball makes after it is thrown and each bounce is worth two points. - 3 worksheets where balls in a sack are worth 2 points each and the child must find the correct numeral from underneath and match if to the sack.

Tell the time puzzle pieces! Are you teaching your class how to tell the time? Do they struggle with analogue and digital times? Well this is the resource for you! Use the puzzle outlines giving the time to give your children. Ask them to find the analogue and digital clock to match the written time. There are puzzle outlines and pieces for every five minutes. The puzzles are arranged with all the puzzles for o'clock times together then five past, then ten past etc. You could use these puzzles as a cut and stick activity or you could print and laminate the pieces using velcro for a reusable activity. They include 6 worksheets where children cut and paste a rabbit or a squirrel over a nut or a carrot to signify 'taking 1' from a number of objects. 3 worksheets where children draw an extra fish into a fish bowl to signify 'adding 1' from a number of objects. 3 worksheets where children cross out a fish from a fish bowl to signify 'taking 1' from a number of objects. 3 worksheets where children draw spots for a number and then draw one more to indicate 'adding 1' to a number. 2 worksheets where children look at a number and either add or take 1 from the number.

These Valentine's day printables would be excellent for early morning work. They include: - 3 pages of word shape work. - 3 pages of word searches. - 5 pages of cut the letters out to spell the words (cvc with medial a, e, i, o and u). - 3 pages of cut and paste the number that comes next. - 4 pages of cut and paste the number to complete the number sentence. - 3 pages of complete the maze and write the directions. - 2 pages of cut and paste to complete the pattern. The best thing about these resources is you can print them and go - no prep! All your children will need is a pencil, scissors and glue.
