Hi all! Ever feel like getting your students to put out descriptive and detailed writing is like pulling teeth? I have the answer! This fun writing activity will motivate students to write like there's no tomorrow! The activity is called "I spy with my little eye." Many are familiar with this game, however, in this case it's a writing activity. Students are to describe in detailed writing a noun that they pull from a bag. Once students have written, they present their writing to their classmates. Their peers are given an opportunity to guess the noun that the student has described.
