About
Hello, I’m Jo—a neurodivergent practitioner with over 10 years’ experience in schools. I have an ADHD diagnosis of my own and am a proud mum to my neurodivergent son. I know firsthand how overwhelming the world can feel when you’re expected to mask who you are just to fit in.
Unmask and Thrive was created to provide inclusive, neuro-affirming resources designed to support neurodivergent children, young people, and the adults who care for and educate them.
Through my advisory work in schools, I advocate for children across the county—from KS2 all the way to KS5, preparing for adulthood. My role allows me to support staff to understand how to create safe, supportive, and inclusive environments where neurodivergent learners can thrive, not just survive.
Unmask and Thrive is my way of sharing tools, guidance, and encouragement that honour different ways of thinking, feeling, and being. Whether you're a parent, teacher, or a young person yourself—you’ll find
