Image post to remind ALL of this year’s Eating Disorder Awareness Week, which takes place on the 21st of February - right through to 27th of February 2022. You can address and raise awareness at your school, from* “Love Your Body Week” *approach , rather than directly speak about eating disorders . (Why? Research shows , it does more harm than good to speak directly about EDs.!) Many educational staff are also suffering from disorderly eating and eating disorders - especially after pandemic and the effects of lock down, with comfort eating going hand in hand. If your school is located in and around South East of the UK - the two free DROP-INs I am running might be of use to you, your student, student’s loved ones to get some free help, support and guidance . Date: Mon 21st Feb Time : 12pm - 3pm Venue: Sutton library (SM1 - Surrey) Date : Tue 22nd Feb Time: 12pm - 3pm Venue: Croydon central library (CR0 - Surrey) Date: Fri 25th Feb Time: 8pm -8:45pm Virtual webinar : “Body Dysmorphia & Body Hate + Q&A” You can sign up HERE.
