This Winter Themed Poetry and Reader's Theater unit is a fun way to teach the standard RL3.5. You can use this as rotations or as whole group mini-lessons. Rotations: If using this unit as rotations, simply print out the rotation cards and place them in plastic tubs or file folders. Place the corresponding materials in each center. After teaching a mini-lesson about poetry and dramas, have your students rotate throughout the centers, completing the response sheet for each poem.
