Bostcastle Flooding 3 Lesson Bundle - these lessons can be used as part of a flooding module or as a stand alone mini series to fill cover lessons within geography. The lessons are split but can easily be linked if desired. The first lesson looks at the causes of floods and includes a research task for students. Technology will be needed for this lesson. Lesson two focuses on Boscastle and the geographical location and features of it. Using the research from lesson 1 there is an exam practice question. Lesson 3 is a consolidation lesson which allows students to create a poster explaining what happened at Boscastle and why.

British Values Liberty Lesson - This lesson can be used as part of a sequence or as a one off lesson focusing on British Values. The lesson starts with students understanding what values and liberty mean to them. This allows a basis to build upon as the lesson progresses. It then goes on to include class discussions around what freedoms and rights we have in the UK and why these are important. There is a writing or a further discussion task where students are to pick the top 5 rights and justify why they think they are most important. They are then to make a poster about the rights they have chosen.
