Christian Denominations and the Reformation: You will identify different groups within Christianity and reasons for their existence. You will do this by examining Martin Luther and the Reformation. Within this we will examine reasons for these groups and their similarities and differences in belief and practices. Introduction to the early Christian Church: You will learn about what was expected from Jesus as the Messiah, the birth of the Church at Pentecost and the spread of the early Christians and the problems they met. Christian Mission and the Letters of Saint Paul: You will learn about St. Paul’s role in the creation of the Bible and focus on his writings about love (Corinthians 1:13) and Forgiveness (letter to Philemon). You will also consider the reasons for his letters and their importance and influence on Christians today. Books of the bible resource not included as I did not create it
