This is a really fun, engaging yet simple way of revising. Can be used as part of a revision session and/or starter. On the next slide are a series of statements/questions and keywords On your tables you will have a set of different coloured sticky notes As a team, you must answer the questions as quickly as possible by writing the answer on the sticky note, running to the front of the classroom and sticking the answer in the relevant box If there is a key word – write something you know about this! Once the box has been filled (answered) no other teams can attempt to answer

Using the OCR spec / mark scheme I have created some questions showing how to break it down and some example answers

Several revision questions. I cut this out and stuck onto a game of jenga, allowing students to pull out a brick and they would have to answer the question. Their partner would decide if they answered correctly.

A range of basic cheerleading moves. Best used when laminated so students are able to choreograph their own sequences.

A fun, detective-style drugs in sport lesson. Delegate one prison officer per table who has to explain the pros/cons of taking a specific drug. Students will have to look at the suspects on the table and discuss if that drug would be used in their sport and if so what perceived benefit would it give. Students rotate round to three different tables.

It is also easily adapted and amended to suit.

A range of tasks for an individual and/or a team to complete during a game

A great way to keep students engaged in fitness and break away from the stereotypical old-school style fitness lessons! Students will have to pick a range of food off the menu, log how many calories each item has and burn off those calories with specific exercises. Easily differentiated.

Pick a revision topic e.g. bones/muscles/engagement patterns. Students pick a sub-topic for their partner and they have 60 seconds to write down as much as they can.
