This addition to 30 using a number line booklet is a collection of worksheets that will allow your students to practise the important skill of adding using a number line. Experience in my own class shows that by having the question and the number line beside each other all on one page, children find the task less daunting and have more confidence completing the addition questions using the number line. This worksheet set up also allows you to see where any potential misconceptions or misunderstandings are occurring as their working is on the same page therefore allowing you to support your students.
This worksheet booklet contains 8 different worksheets for children to work through either as individual sheets or as a workbook to be used during the lessons.
In this CVVC word booklet you will find 4 worksheets that will give children who are starting out on their writing journey a chance to explore CVVC words. The easy to understand pictures allow children to focus on their sequencing skills instead of having to concentrate a lot on the tricky task in hand.

Images to cut, order and stick
Printing advice:
Be sure not to print this resource double sided as children will need to cut out the images to order. Be aware that there are 3 copies of the images on page 2 so only print as many as you need.

These ‘Months of the Year’ bingo boards are ideal for teaching the order of the months of the year. It is a really easy game that children love which can be used time and time again as part of maths centres, as part of a play rotation and as a starter or finisher task. I simply call out a month and ask for the month before or after to be crossed out. For example: “You can cross off the month after January”. Alternatively, once the children get the hang of the game, you can also make it a child’s responsibility to call out the instructions or use the cards at the end of the pack to choose the bingo calls so all children can play without teacher support.
