KS1 English/Literacy Planning for the text Dear Miss/ Dear Teacher by Amy Husband The lessons cover the following learning objectives: Understand the features of a letter Write a letter and include features such as address, date, greeting and closing Understand the difference between a fact and a question Construct questions about a topic Use a question mark correctly Identify and use adjectives to describe a noun Use a dictionary to describe the meaning of a word Write descriptive sentences Edit and improve work There are 12 lessons in total - lessons will last approximately one hour.
