I have made a booklet for each Hospitality and Catering topic. This booklet focuses on Food Safety. The booklet is forty-two pages long. It contains the following information: AC4.1 describe food related causes of ill health AC4.2 describe the role and responsibilities of the Environmental Health Officer (EHO) AC4.3 describe food safety legislation AC4.4 describe common types of food poisoning AC4.5 describe the symptoms of food induced ill health In addition, I have added some mini exams/mock exams, and some food safety activities to help assess pupils learning. I have made booklets for other topics including: Understand the environment in which Hospitality and Catering providers operate. Understand how Hospitality and Catering provision operates. Understand how Hospitality and Catering provision meets health and safety requirements. Know how food can cause ill health. The resources provided will help a teacher to get started to teach Health and Social Care and Childcare. I have provided starter and plenary activities. In addition, I have included worksheets for the first couple of lessons which provides information on PIES (Physical, Intellectual, Emotional and Social development), life stages (from a baby to elderly), Powerful and Mindful discussion activity and many more. One starter activity includes: Inside Out, Riley’s Emotions - Starter/Plenary Activity. A great starter activity for Health and Social Care, and Childcare to get pupils thinking about how emotions can affect an individual aged 3-12 years, and adults aged 20-64. Pupils will list emotions individuals will experience throughout their lifespan.

This ‘Wellbeing and Happiness’ Booklet will be suitable for ‘back to school’ lessons after the extended period off school.
