This unit of work is a mental maths focus for year 5. In each activity there is an explanation of that concept in maths, then the child will complete some questions, moving up to problems at the end of the activity. There are ten activities in total so there is enough material for a term when used once a week.

There are five activities in this unit of work based on the application of capital letter, full stops, commas and apostrophes. The children are given a passage and a code system to decide where the correct punctuation should be added. There are 11 files in total.
