Partes del Cuerpo

JUAN PEQUENO BAILA. Typical spanish song played by children. - It is a build up song. After having learnt the parts of the body used in the song, we will play the song. Children can enjoy the song playing in a circle or in pars. When you listen the part of the body, everybody have to dance with that part "dedo" "mano" "codo" " pies".. to ending dancing with all the body: "cuerpo". The children will love it! and as it is quite repetitive, they usually join as well and sing!

A Tarsia Vocabulary puzzle based on the key vocabulary from the GCSE Studio Book Module 5 point de depart. Students simply have to match up the English word to the TL to create a big shape . I usually use this resource with students working in pairs, or in groups of 3/4. This is a great activity that engage students straight away and recap easily in previous knowledge. It works well as a starter activity to settle down or as a revision activity. You can use the solutions to display on board as a way of AFL or give clues if students need a bit of help.

GCSE STUDIO Mod 5 Unit L'hotel. FOLLOW UP cards

This resource is made as a revision activity for the unit 1 L’hotel from the GCSE Studio Higher book. Students are given a set of cards and they need to match up a French sentence with the English translation as if this was a domino. The domino starts with " je voudrais reserver" and finish with “On voyagera en avion…” If the pieces are used correctly the follow up cards should show a paragraph in French and in English (creating a rectangular shape) Extension: I usually used this activity to reinforce tenses. Ask students to copy the French text and highlight tenses and/or time phrases if it appears. Change the text to another tense.
