In my store, you will predominantly find display resource packs that I have created to suit the current OFSTED framework while linking to the national curriculum. I will always try to offer one free resource to show what my resource packs will look like and the information they include before you choose to purchase them.

English as a subject can either be specific of the point that it’s limiting or broad to the point that it includes everything when it comes to career links. OFSTEDs new framework is heavily influenced by Gatsby Benchmark 4: careers in the curriculum. We know that we do this as teaching professionals everyday, but OFSTED require this to be explicitly clear to all. With that I decided to revamp my careers linking to English display board and made a series of posters to have on display that will enable me to make clear and concise links within curriculum learning to careers.

Keeping student’s books and notes organised can almost seem like an impossible task. Something I have found helpful through my teaching is having introduction pages. INCLUDED: New Topic Introduction Sheet (Power and Conflict Poetry) for students that has a topic overview, jobs areas linked to the topic, cross-curricular links, key vocabulary, subject terminology, useful 'tier two words New Topic Introduction PowerPoint (Power and Conflict Poetry) to go alongside the student sheet.

A display pack linking to Teaching Standard 6: Make accurate and productive use of assessment. I personally find that it is helpful for students to have a visual aid for the Assessment Objectives so that it may help them with their recall ability in knowing and understanding what they will be assessed on in their GCSEs.
