My students tell me that my class is hard, but fun, and they love the atmosphere of what it means to learn in my classroom. I believe that students need to be actively engaged in the learning process, and that the learning experience in science should be challenging, enjoyable, and meaningful. Most of my activities incorporate interactive and/or hands on learning strategies; students learn how to be thinkers and problem solvers, effectively engage in discussion, explore their curiosities, communicate their ideas, and master biology content! Bio-Active Minds aims to elevate Biology Education by providing classroom resources for Biology that make it easy for teachers to provide an engaging, high-quality, learning experience for their students.
