Some tasks refer to textbook pages (Cambridge International AS Level, International History 1870-1945 by David Williamson). This could be substituted for another textbook or online resources. Begins with students analysing information sheets to gain an understanding of China in the early 1900s and think about what factors have influenced change. Next students use a Khan Academy video to build a timeline overview of the course. Students then research two key individuals in Sun Yat-sen and Yuan Shikai.
