Sheets to aid planning before a piece of descriptive writing. Images show beaches but can be adapted to any image or purpose. Use in conjunction with a thesaurus to drive ambitious choices. Asks the pupils to consider adjectives alongside descriptive verbs and nouns, using senses and considering basic language devices.
