Included are three practice papers for section A of the AQA Graphic Products exam 2016 based on the theme ''Self-assembly decoration for a special event'. The three papers give a broad experience of section A type design questions and related theory questions and will help to build confidence for students going into the exam: Paper 1: Design and develop a hanging decoration for Chinese New Year. Sequential instructions for assembly and final presentation drawing. Paper 2: Design and develop tro ideas for a table decoration for a school prom. Print finishes question and accurate drawing on grid paper. Paper 3: Design and develop two ideas for a large free standing decoration to advertise a school fair. Draw on grid paper the word 'Fair' to be cut out and folded as a display. Additional question on notes and sketches to increase stability. Markschemes are provided for all three papers and can be used for self-assessment or peer-assessment to allow students to gain familiarity with the AQA style of marking.
