This is a group assessment activity that I created for my year 9 Health and Social Care class. It is designed to take upto 3-5 lessons and provides a different style of assessment. Included is a powerpoint with full instructions, full grade criteria and 2 worksheets for students to complete.

This is a double lesson that I have created on the impact of sleep on health. All of the resources you need for the lesson are included with the Powerpoint presentation. There is exam questions, a WAGOLL, assessment opportunities etc. There is so much in this lesson, you could spread it out over 3 lessons or use tasks as home work pieces. There is a focus on deep reading / comprehension in this task and 2 source materials are included which will be easy to print off for students to read in small groups.

A complete booklet for health and social care. I made this for my year 9 class as an introduction to physical factors in preparation for component 3. At least 12 1 hour lessons and home-learning tasks - I teach some over doubles! Covers: illegal drugs cannabis alcohol smoking personal hygiene exercise Obviously, you will want to adapt to fit your classes / style of teaching.
