Year 6 Transition Lessons - Top Worries/ Friendships/ Fall outs, Mind Sets/ Being the Best Me
150 slides which a Year 6 teacher can deliver to their form group. Divided into sessions, the PowerPoint initally covers top worries before exploring the skills and qualities students will need to develop to ‘be the best me’ at their new school.

Christmas Year 8 Tutor Time
Year 8 Christmas week activities including reflecting back on the term and some target setting disguised around Christmas activities. Finally a huge, bumper ‘timeless’ Christmas quiz to finish the term off.
Christmas Year 7 Tutor Time
This resource includes a reflection on Year 7’s first term and some target setting disguised around some Christmas activities. There are also two sessions on the history of Christmas and the Queen’s Speech. Furthermore, there is a ‘timeless’ Christmas quiz.

A different quiz for each year group - it is timeless so won’t need updating each year. Furthermore, there are a range of reflection activities and target activities disguised as Christmas activities. Moreover, there are some informative sessions on such aspects of Christmas like how it is celebrated around the world, the history of the festival and the history of the Queen’s Speech.

As well as a bumper quiz, the week has some activities reflecting on efforts levels/ aspirations/ future goals etc.

A reflection session on students efforts so far, a look at a Christmas recipe and New Year’s resolutions all linked to their learning followed by a bumper Christmas quiz unique to their year group.
