Focus on a range of Tier 2 words. The intervention is designed to be repetitive and thorough in the teaching of the new words. It can be used to support Key stage 2, 3 or 4 students. Structure: -Introduce new word Learn definition Create flash card for the new word Go through flashcards of all known words with new word added in Fill out Frayer model to support vocabulary consolidation Synonym challenge game Provided will be a Powerpoint with all new words (over 40), their definitions, synonyms.
