This product is designed to help children learn the suffixes -age and -wise. It includes a presentation and 3 different worksheets. The presentation explains what a suffix is and also explains what -age and -wise means when used as suffixes. There are differentiated activities included in the presentation. Activities include, matching the word to the meaning, dictionary work and writing sentences. There is also a page which explains the spelling rules for the suffixes. Two of the activity sheets are “complete the sentence” activities with 10 sentences on each sheet. Answer sheets are provided to make the teacher’s life a little easier. The last activity sheet is an assessment of the suffixes -age and -wise. It contains two exercises. The first, requires children to find a suitable word for the meaning given. The second exercise asks students to write the correct ending to the root word in order to complete the sentence. All files are saved as PDFs so make sure your device can open PDF files.

An exercise to review the class rules An end of year reflections exercise 7 Drama Key Skills flash cards These cute little flashcards are usually hanging around my room. At the end of every lessons students move to the skill they felt most confident with in the lesson and then the skill they feel they want to work on in the next lesson. The skills are listening, speaking, motivation, confidence, cooperation, organisation, responsibility. An exercise to review the class rules This is an exercise I gave students if they forgot some of the rules of the Drama class. It includes a comprehension outlining the rules, questions and a composition based on what they have learned from the exercise and how they plan to use it to move forward. There is a question sheet for junior primary and senior primary. An end of year reflections exercise This reflection was given to the students in the last lesson of the year. It was an opportunity to reflect on all they learned, the skills they improved, the games they enjoyed and also allowed them to focus on their targets for the next year. There are two sheets, one with questions and one for them to create a drawing showing their favourite activity. All files are saved as PDFs.

These Mé Féin (Myself) matching cards are a fun and educational resource designed to help children learn and reinforce their Irish language skills.
