A 6 week history unit for KS2 on The Maya. The children will learn about everyday life in the Maya, compare British time periods with Mayan events, infer from primary sources of evidence extracted from the Mayan Codex and write an essay on what made the Mayans successful farmers. Planning is in the form of SMART notebook slides - resources in word format where necessary.
