Students are set a challenge to create their own elbow joint to explore the bones, muscles, ligaments and tendons involved in the process. If they construct their joint correctly they will also understand how tendons create movement and ligaments provide support and structure.

Great repetitive task for students to explore the cell organelles required for GCSE specification. Quiz, Quiz, Trade requires each student to have a card and stand in front of another student. Student A quizes Student B with their card, then student B quizes student A with their card and then they trade cards and repeat the process with a new student. Ideal time for task is 10 minutes but it depends on class size and how much you can trust them to stay focused. A great task for learning in an interactive manner.

Students have always struggle to isolate movements when more than one joint is moving. This interactive task looks at isolated movements between hinge and ball and socket joints to make it easier to learn and remember.
