I am currently working as a RS Teacher. Prior to this, I have taught pupils on the Autism spectrum from ages 11+. My academic background stems from a Joint Honours Degrees in Islamic Studies and Theology and PGCE in Secondary Religious Education. I have worked in numerous secondary schools teaching Geography at KS3 , History upto KS4 and Religious Education right the way from KS3 to KS5. Aside from this, I have travelled to 33 different countries across the world. I do this with a passion because I love discovering new cultures and exploring the historical dimensions of our world. I enjoy meeting new friends. I am currently working on my local cities first multi-faith programme in conjunction with many local religious leaders in an attempt to reinforce community cohesion and combat extremism and radicalisation. I aspire to work to deliver exciting lessons that tap into their potential and hope to inspire them to become responsible young adults.
