Display and/or visual aid for historians to use. Contains support around Causation, Important, Unimportant, Categories, Adding a point, emphasising, Contradicting, Cause and effect, judgement, Avoiding 1st person, cause and effect questioning and sourcing. We use this with our GCSE students.

This is an example of the reward system I have in place for years 7-9. This involves gaining a bunting token for their behaviour, attitudes and work, and creating their reward bunting tally. At the end of the week, the student with the most and 2nd most made bunting gets a prize out of the reward box. I mainly use this for the younger students as they like the idea of creating their own bunting! I also use this idea sometimes with the elder years 10 and 11, where they form teams of 3-4 people and they have a team against team each term to see who wins the prize. Last term it was a Nando’s voucher

This is an edit and support pencil aid for students to use in the classroom to help with their work. It includes how to proof read your work to ensure it makes sense, has the right punctuation, capital letters etc. It also includes the 3 BEFORE ME, which focuses on steps you can make to gain support for if you are stuck, rather than going straight to the teacher. These are fully customizable.

These are aimed at working along with the Plenary Cards. I use the template sheets as a prompt for those students who need guidance with completing them.
