#### Year 2 Real life arrays

Used to cover the Year 2 objective to solve problems and understand multiplication and division as an array and to write multiplication and division sentences for the arrays. Success criteria and self assessment included.

This resource uses models to help children link repeated addition to multiplication and moves on to linking this without the use of models. There are 3 levels.

#### Year 2- estimate and place numbers on an empty numberline

Resource sheets to support children when estimating and placing numbers on an empty number line. The differentiated sheets are designed to help children see where the number would go using a scaffold and then moving on to use a blank number line. The last resource sheet allows children to master these skills and links to the mastery materials. All resource sheets include success criteria and self assessment.

#### Phase 4 Phonics Resources

These resource sheets could be used as homework related to the phonics taught in the lessons, independent group work , worksheets to be completed in the phonics area or a scaffold for LSA's undertaking intervention. These directly link to Letters and sounds Phase 4 (also recapping phase 3) with activities for everyday for 4 weeks. They also include phonics tests/ assessments of the new sounds covered that week. The sheets are designed to be very visual and would be helpful to use with SEN/EAL to help catch up

These differentiated resource sheets can be used as a scaffold in fractions of amounts/ solving fraction problems lessons. They are very visual to link fractions of shapes with fractions of amounts. They consist of problem solving questions supported with visuals for all abilities. The work is all directly linked to the National Curriculum Year 2 section about Fractions- To solve simple real life fraction problems and to find fractions of amounts. Each activity also has its own success criteria for children and the teacher to complete within the lesson.

#### Year 6- Ratio using Cuisenaire Rods

Two levels of questions using Cuisenaire Rods to cover Year 6 Ratio objective- Solve problems involving the relative sizes of two quantities where missing values can be found by using integer multiplication and division. Smart board to support with images of the rods to demonstrate to the class.

Outstanding Shape lesson. Including a smart-board introducing the correct language for 2D shapes. The shapes are introduced as a game where the children are encouraged to use the correct language and sentence stems. The children then sort shapes according to their properties in different ways. All resource sheets are included.

#### Multiplication stories

This resources shows the children differentiated multiplication problems through the use of a picture. This can be adapted in many ways. Children can create their own word problems, generate calculations and answers .

#### Base 10 addition and subtraction differentiated mastery problems

#### Year 2- Maths Investigations- Linked to Charlie and the Chocolate factory
