I am now a retired teacher having taught for over 40 years in the UK at secondary level. I wanted to share my love of Mathematics and teaching by providing a good set of resources which will more than cover all your needs for as many topics as I can and at good value for money. I am trying to cover many topics from foundation level GCSE up to grade 9 at higher level in a way that is interesting and relevant. I hope you like my style !

Two types of question asked - basically changing fractions into percentages and also changing percentages into fractions. This is very thorough and could be used to revise percentages with foundation students at G.C.S.E Answers are included Please leave feedback, especially if you like my work - thank you.

Fractional and Negative Indices - 30 Question Powerpoint Starter

This is a starter I wanted to use with higher level GCSE students. 32 questions using a mix of zero, negative and fractional indices. The powerpoint is not locked so that slides may be re-ordered, deleted or added to. This is an big and colourful starter but is also very challenging in places. Questions include : 4 to the power of negative one half 16 to the power of negative three over two 1000 to the power of two thirds etc. Some of the questions are quite demanding !!!

I wrote this set of worksheets to challenge grade 8 and 9 students. The aim was to bridge the gap between Trigonometry and the Manipulation Of Surds. The sheets have been well received by students. There are 2 questions over two pages: Q1 Straightforward trigonometry in a right angled triangle with angles of 45°, 30° and 60° - meant to be done without the aid of a calculator. 12 different questions here. Q2 Simplifying expressions involving Sine, Cosine and Tangent of 0°, 30°, 45°, 60° and 90° 26 different questions here. Answers are included. I have also included a couple of bonus sheets which will help. Please leave feedback - particularly if you like them. - Thank You
