A unit of work and resources to accompany our “Around the World in 80 days” topic. These sessions focus on China. Some mapping skills from the new curriculum 2014 as well as comparing school in China to here in the UK. Have used some resources from elsewhere to join together as a unit. These resources were free and posted on tes by lulimaya (Barnaby Bear) so the original can be found .

A 3 week unit of work using the “Beowulf” by Michael Morpurgo. Expectations are fro Year 3/4. Lessons focus particularly on retrieval, vocabulary and summarising skills of reading.
