This is a 29 slide power point specifically to cover all aspects of the OCR AS Biology specification. The syllabus is shown at the beginning so students can tick off each stage of the specification as you teach it. Easy to read text following closely to the specification, colourful diagrams and easy to understand explanations. The slides include structure of enzymes, intracellular and extracellular uses, phagocytosis, action of enzymes, effect of temp, pH, enzyme concentration, substrate concentration (and experimental investigations with graphs), competitive and non-competitive inhibition, rate of reaction, cofactors and co-enzymes, finishing with metabolic poisons as inhibitors and medical drugs acting as inhibitors (again following all examples stated by the specification).
