These are a selection of resources that I used with year 12 (2016-2017) and will be using with my new year 12's (2017-2018) this year, that help give students the knowledge and understanding of learning aim A. These resources certainly helped prepare my students for when it came to the first assignment. This is not everything I did with my students to prepare them for the assignment but covered the first 10 lessons. This could be used when completing learning aim BC P6 of Unit 3 - Using Social Media in Business. This has worked fantastic for myself and has allowed me to provide students with information on the usage and interaction that their posts could get.

This resource is a full lesson, possibly two depending on ability. I have used this resource with KS4 but it could be used with KS3. Included is a presentation which covers lists and how they can be used within Python, a workbook that allows students to work with lists and a full lesson plan. The workbook includes a series of tasks and challenges. It also includes areas for students to explain what the code is actually doing, showing their true knowledge and understanding.

The final assessment allows all abilities to show their knowledge and understanding and comes complete with mark scheme. This SOW has worked extremely well with each of my year 8 classes; regardless of ability.
