I have searched and searched for the NEA mark scheme on its own without the rest of the specification but had no joy. I thought that I would produce the mark scheme for the NEA so that I can give it to my students to use when they come to complete the NEA in year 11. This will be placed in their resource bank so that they don't have to waste time searching through the specification to find the mark scheme.

These are a selection of resources that I used with year 12 (2016-2017) and will be using with my new year 12’s (2017-2018) this year, that help give students the knowledge and understanding of learning aim A. These resources certainly helped prepare my students for when it came to the first assignment. This is not everything I did with my students to prepare them for the assignment but covered the first 10 lessons. Excellent resource if your students don't have the use of social media when completing this unit! This is a template that can be used to provide students with simulated data for them to analyse. This could be used when completing learning aim BC P6 of Unit 3 - Using Social Media in Business. This has worked fantastic for myself and has allowed me to provide students with information on the usage and interaction that their posts could get.

KS3 / KS4 - Starter or plenary activity to check students' understanding of input, output, and storage. The resource will need to be printed and cut up, students then need to match the words to the correct definitions.

Presentation and activity to be used to cover bitwise operators.

This resource has been designed to allow students to track their own progress over time. Students are able to record their test score and see if they are making progress. It is also good for when books are being checked as assessment can be seen straight away and the progress being made can easily be seen. I have used this resource with my current year 10 students and they have found it a good way to refer back to previous assessment results as it has been stuck in the front of their book.
