Large crossword (over 70 questions) covering the whole range of topics traditionally covered in Year 7, 8 and 9. Allows pupils to work independently for anywhere between 1-2 hours. Great to use at the end of your KS3 Science curriculum (whether that is Year 8 or 9) or as intervention work/summer work. Highly recommend to print on A3. Update: Answer sheet attached as well. Includes new concepts such as density, latent heat, internal & potential energy as well as states of matter and specific heat capacity. Perfect for at the end of the topic or for revision in Year 11. Students will do over 30+ questions without really feeling they have done so. The questions and answers also make for great flashcard material. This worksheet asks students several questions around rate of reactions & temperature. It includes questions on state symbols, acids, effect of temperature on rate and has pupils draw a graph from results, as well as add a second line to the graph after changing temperature (a common exam question). Perfect for homework as the questions lead in to each other nicely and a grid is included for the graph (so no extra graph paper needed/students losing their graphs).

This bundle contains a 100+ slide PPT presentation covering the GCSE Physics topic of Waves (topic 6): Included with the PPT (which has plenty of diagrams and talking points along side the most important theory) are several question sheets and a revision poster, as well as adapted sheets for the two required practicals. The lessons cover: - Types of waves - Wave properties & the wave equation - Reflection (technically GCSE Physics only but is pretty basic; the ray diagrams can be skipped) - Refraction - Diffraction (not explicitly mentioned in the spec but is relevant to using waves for communication) - Sound waves (technically GCSE Physics only again but links well with frequency, amplitude, etc) - Electromagnetic spectrum - Waves for communication - Dangers of radiation Please note that a few key topics for the GCSE Physics only are not included (e.g. lenses). For now this bundle is aimed at the Combined Science specification (and will likely not change this year)
