Analysis Hierarchy - Paragraph Structure

(0)
A differentiated display to support structuring analytical paragraphs. Used with mid-high ability GCSE and A Level groups, but RAG graded to support lower abilities as needed. Can be used for both literature and language analysis. High success using this structure in assessed pieces, mock exams and the real thing. Red steps are compulsory, amber are a stretch and green are more challenging. The more confident students are on green, the more they can adapt and bend the structure.

A full GCSE unit of work for Frankenstein - 33 lessons, fully planned, with appropriate stretch and challenge. Also some suggested homework tasks. Planned for high ability grammar, but scaffolded to support a range of abilities. We use AQA but this is not explicit in the lessons - some of the questions are just structured in line with the AQA questions. Originally made on Google Slides, so formatting works best for that, but still pleasantly formatted for PPT.
