The story maps / planning sheets can be used prior to writing a fiction story. They are suitable for both creating a story map based on a model text, or planning a story. The fiction vocabulary card can be used to support students during writing. It contains a selection of vocabulary lists enabling students to be more ambitious in their word choice when writing. Word lists are linked to areas such as characters, settings, feelings etc. The self / peer assessment checklist is useful at the editing stage.
