Each page of activities work well together, the learning process takes longer than 5 minutes and these can last your a whole term to the whole school year. The objective of music learning is the singing voice and pulse, with additional movements. This pack contains nine individual activities, entering the room, moving around the room, action song, working with partners, sitting down activities. Plenty of fun for every lesson.

Partner songs for children to sing as they work in partners, finding new partners and learning to move in time to music, develop listening skills in response to the teacher and have a lot of fun at the same time. These two activities can be used separately or one after the other. They are suitable for Early Years to Year 3.

5 minute Moving Around the Room Music Activities

These games are great to help release students of energy, get them to actively move in time to a pulse, and develop their listening skills. These are up and moving activities which can utilise all the space in your room and allow students to move freely as independent learners. Use these games at the start, middle or end of a lesson.

These two activities are great for establishing focus and attention when the students first sit down, or after students have been more active moving around the classroom. It calms them quickly and allows you to move on to the next part of your lesson with ease. I always sit students in a circle and sit in the circle, Open Close Them is a winner every time, the Beehive song takes a little practise especially with the more complicated finger movements at the end. The students love to sing the final phrase over and over.
