I worked on the food topic with my Yr 8 and designed this worksheet on pancake recipe. We look at imperative and also reading comprehension. After studying the recipe, I took them to the food tech department to make some pancakes. A nice way to end the term. Enjoy and don't forget to feedback! :-)

After teaching my Yr7 body parts in Spanish, I asked them to design their own Frankenstein using body parts from various pictures (collage) and asked them to label it. A cultural project which I did with my classes in MFL(Spanish) as a competition but I guess you could use for other lessons like geography or citizenship. This project took a week to complete. Students worked in groups of 3-4 and then presented their work (PowerPoint/brochure). A nice end of term or year activity with a cultural take on it to fit new curriculum (global dimension).
