Since completing a degree in computer science, I went on to teaching and have done this for many years. I am now working in a secondary school teaching computer science to KS4. Over the years I have developed resources that I have used in the classroom and know how difficult it can be to find suitable resources. I thought it would be great to share these.

I have developed a project called Alpine Quality Vehicles Project - This project enables students to develop a wide range of skills by researching, developing a poster, presentation, excel spreadsheet tasks including SUM, MIN, MAX, Average, IF function, Lookup Function, Absolute as well as general ICT questions. I have used this as a mock exam in preparation an ICT exam. This took my my students 2 lessons to complete but you really do get an idea of what ICT skills they have. I hope you find this useful.

I created knowledge organisers for my computer science students studying AQA A Level. These are for Fundamentals of Programming and Programming Paradigms. I used these organisers to support students learning in these units. I have included Publisher documents as well as PDFs so that you can amend them if you need to adapt them to suit your class. I hope you find them useful.

Recently used as a lesson 16+ year olds. Can easily be used from Year 6 to Secondary. Explains the importance about getting your presentation across to the audience. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to think more logically about how to present an effective presentation to the class.
