This is a course for ICT Functional Skills. I used this with 17 to 18 year olds in further education. I have included all teacher PowerPoint presentations, worksheets and the scheme of work. All presentations are easily adaptable as well the worksheets. Some of the Excel worksheets have been used on older versions of Excel, however they have recently been checked to the most updated version of Excel and do work fine.

I use these lesson starters to help students understand why they learn ICT and Computing. Students research questions for each person then class discussions afterwards. Great activities to support research skills and develop further knowledge about these great people.

Creating a database worksheet was used with my students to help them create a basic database, in MS Access. This worksheet contains how to create a database, a report and how to create a query. This worked really well for 15 years plus but I am sure this will suit secondary amd even primary.

This is a great worksheet that introduces the LookUp function to learners. This gives a step by step process to carry out the lookup function. My students really enjoyed my activity and it really supported their understanding.

I created knowledge organisers for my computer science students studying AQA A Level. These are for Fundamentals of Programming and Programming Paradigms. I created a mock exam for my year 10s last year, it contains a mixture of computer science exam questions. Topic questions include binary logic, computer networks, RAM, ROM, Computer systems, input output devices, cloud computing and trouble shooting. I have also included the marking scheme. Being new to app creation as well as the year 6 class I was teaching, I decided to make a step by step of instructions using PowerPoint. This worked brilliantly, it really is a beginners guide for them. It is to make a Ratatouille information app about the film but you can adapt this PowerPoint to suit your needs. This can be used for an assessment to identify knowledge already obtained or need obtaining. I have used this as a mock exam in preparation for an ICT exam. Introduction to Python - the basics, includes 4 PowerPoints with a scheme of work. All lessons and SOW are editable for you to adjust for your classes. Lesson 1 - Identify features of Python Idle as well as basic Math and use the print statement. Lesson 2 - Identify some errors in Python code and introduction to variables.
