Apostrophes for Contractions Worksheets
Ten different worksheets of varying challenge levels to work on being able to use apostrophes for contraction/ apostrophes for omission.
The ten different worksheets vary in challenge to ensure there is something for everyone, including:
A simple matching task
Changing phrases into the contracted form (or vice versa on one work sheet)
Rewriting sentences to change phrases into the contracted form
Sentence level task
Identifying errors
Working on multiple choice reasoning questions
Answer sheets are included for all ten activities.
These are very much ready to print and go as they are with the only requirement being to decide the level of challenge you want to bring to pupils. Worksheets are attached with UK and US spellings.

A reading comprehension resource that focuses on the layers of the Earth, providing information about the different layers as well as activities linked to this to check understanding.

Coordinating Conjunctions Worksheets
Five different worksheets that focus on being able to use coordinating conjunctions in different ways.

Sentence combining - Combining two sentences together using a coordinating conjunction
Complete the sentence - Complete each sentence that has an initial clause and coordinating conjunction following it that then needs completing

Science - Year 6 Electricity
A fully resourced 6 lesson unit on electricity in Year 6.
Included is a booklet format that includes all the questions, all the supporting information required and the activities linked to this. As much as possible, images, models and diagrams have been used to make the information as accessible as possible to refer back to following discussions. Each lesson also has key vocabulary and recap questions as well (the first lesson links to our previous unit of Animals including Humans so can be easily adapted).
Each lesson also has a PowerPoint that includes the information and diagrams from the booklet as well as any additional notes etc.
All the resources have been uploaded as PowerPoints so that you can easily adapt them to suit your setting.

Algebra One-Step Equations Worksheet
A worksheet that provides a variety of questions linked to being able to complete one-step algebraic equations.
Included as part of the worksheet are 7 different questions that provide variation to check understanding through the use of different models, representations and question styles.
There is also an extension task that provides challenge with a further 3 questions.
Answers are also included for all questions.

Edited 2019 KS2 Arithmetic Tests
FIve adapted versions of the 2019 KS2 Arithmetic test that can be used to support quizzing and progress against the same question types.
Each adapted version includes the same question types and requirements of pupils with adapted numbers that look for the same mathematical understanding.
Each paper also includes an answers on a page for marking with ease.
