Active and Passive for Year 6 SATs

(0)
A comprehensive, 30 slide, active and passive PPT. It starts off looking at what a sentence is and touches on subjects and verbs. I then go on to explain how to identify an active sentence and then a passive sentence. I also look at how to convert from active to passive and vice-versa. There are activities for pupils to complete and several SATs style questions as well as teacher notes. The PPT has been designed for Year 6 SATs but could be used with older pupils and could be used to introduce active and passive or as a revision tool. Also see my other SATs PPTS: Present and Past Progressive verbs; Present Perfect; Simple Past and Simple Present. Bundles also available. Thanks for looking. NB: The preview slides look distorted on my preview. The words all fit neatly into the boxes in my PPT and don't spill out as in the preview. Your download will match my copy. Any problems then please let me know.

The first homework looks at Martin Luther King's 'I have a dream' speech and asks pupils to identify persuasive features. Self-assessment is also included.
