A comprehensive PPT presentation on the use of paragraphs. Ideal for Year 6 SATs but would also work well for any other KS2/KS3/KS4 students needing to know about paragraphs. The resource looks briefly at the importance of paragraphs and then talks about TiP ToP. Pupils need to identify where and why paragraphs are needed in two different texts (worksheets included). Also included is a planning task where pupils need to plan their paragraphs and topic sentences for a piece of non-fiction writing. I am an English teacher who specialises in grammar and who works in both primary and secondary schools. Thanks for looking.
