This PowerPoint has the lesson on it and there are slides that can easily be printed off for hand-outs/worksheets as well. I use this lesson with my Year 9 students but it can be adapted easily.

I use this lesson with my year 9 students as part of their community cohesion unit. Please note that the opinions to be discussed are controversial and have been picked on purpose to enable discussion about whether it's fair people hold those beliefs/stereotypes of the British.

I have used the exam board spec to create some PLCs. the word documents are ones I give my students to rag their knowledge ready for targeting the revision. check document size before printing though as 2 are A3 size as the units have a lot in them so I print A3-A4 in printer settings. the PowerPoint's are just the checklist in an editable format. I copy these into my revision PowerPoint's towards the exam period to make it clear for students with knowledge gaps. I hope this helps or is a starting point for you. please leave feedback.

I use this lesson as part of my Year 9 SoW on law & legal rights. It has been adapted for GCSE too easily in the past.

I use this lesson with my year 7 students. you need to be a bit 'tongue in cheek' getting them to sing a 'national anthem' of who wonderful you are and tell them they are doing the tasks or they get a week of detentions etc, BUT the kids remember this lesson and they understand the different types of government from it.
