I earned my Primary Teaching qualification from the University of Edinburgh in 2019. After completing my NQT year in East Dunbartonshire Council, I took on roles in Palma, Mallorca, teaching KS2 and serving as Head of Mathematics and Eco Coordinator. Currently based in Dubai, I teach Year 4 and hold the position of KS2 Writing Lead. As a creative and adaptable practitioner, I continually strive to meticulously plan lessons, which encourage, stimulate and provide challenge to my pupils using a range of teaching approaches including digital learning. I plan experiences that allow children to demonstrate and develop their skills for learning, life and work. I ensure that children are given opportunities in class to work collaboratively, engaging with their peers, but also to work independently to become effective lifelong learners.
