There are a selection of code breakers resources that are all themed and make great activities in coordinates lessons or great starters. All the answers are in the title of the document as you download them.
This is a full selection of lessons that goes through place value, writing numbers, multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000. It also goes through rounding to decimals, rounding to significant figures and estimating along with upper and lower bounds.
The starter is a recap about how to solve equations as that is what we had done in the previous lesson. There is then a thinking hard task creating equations to solve.
This is followed by 3 examples that are all animated on how to draw their graphs and notes to put into their books.

This starts of with identifying metric and imperial units. It is followed by metric conversions, and at the end there are some conversions between metric and imperial units for length measurements

I did this lesson after a lesson going through all the rules. It was their second lesson on this topic therefore there it only a little bit of explaining about how the answers are found.
