I have been teaching for seven years after graduating with a 2:1 BEd in General Primary Teaching. I completed my NQT in Cheshire in a Year 4 class which I found challenging but rewarding. After this, due to no permanent roles being available, I moved to Italy to work in a British International School. I worked here for four years and loved the challenge of EAL students from all over the world (and the pizza!) For the last two years I have been working in a new school In Madrid which was an eye opening, exceptional job. I was part of a team who set up the school and we had a range of students of various different needs. Our school focused on technology, science and art. We had our own classes but often taught other ages groups which gave me great experience of reception to Year 7. I am now living in Leeds as I moved here to study a part time masters in Childhood Development at the University of Leeds.
