This resource consists of spelling lists for reception to year 6. The lists are also presented in a precision teaching grid format. To make this resource, I referred to the common exception word lists in the National Curriculum which consist of combined word lists for years 3 and 4 and for years 5 and 6. I separated these by difficulty to create lists for each year group. The words for reception to year 2 are from the National Literacy Strategy. This document contains over 150 questions stems which reflect every question used in the new SATs reading papers. The stems have been cross referenced with the 2016 sample reading papers for KS1 and KS2, the 2016 reading papers for KS1 and KS2 and the 2017 reading papers for KS1 and KS2. The question stems are sorted into tables for content domains 1A-1E for KS1 and 2A-2H for KS2 and next to each question stem is the original question from the SATs paper so that you can see an example of how to use it.
