Create your very own Lowry style paintings in KS2 digitally. Copy and paste buildings that have been individually recreated in the Lowry style to create your city scene. Then populate your city with Lowry people. Teach yourself and your children more about layers and perspective by using PowerPoint's send backwards/forwards and resize tools. Be careful though, Word has missed some spelling mistakes and not all of the suggestions are correct. Challenge the children further by getting them to use the synonym finder to try and improve some of the boring adjectives within the story. A great way to introduce skills that can be applied during cross-curricular work on computers.
