I have used many of the wonderful powerpoints available on TES for this unit 5. They have been great. I have created an assignment help for once the assignment has been set. I have also created a workbook that will help students write the assignment. I used this booklet after each section in order that they structured their thinking. (This is before the assignment had been handed out) By using the booklet and then the information on the worksheets, this helps them to create an assignment. This has been helpful to students who are lacking in self esteem to write such a long assignment. I have added as a word document and a pdf. Planning booklet to show students what Longitudinal studies are and how they can be used. Longitudinal study worksheets and this links observation unit. The analysis is included in this. One power point to help support students with the analysis of the longitudinal study. I go through this with the students once they have completed their longitudinal observations and activities.

These are placement plans for a year for the EYE qualification. I have planned for the cluster assessment. This covers the units 3.5/3.6/3.9/3.10/3.13/2.5. i have also included placement reflection packs. I have found these reflection packs focus students.

A unit about observations. I usually teach this alongside the longitudinal study unit as it is easy to cluster assess.

This is the whole unit for the classroom based learning. (unit 3.5) I have created a work pack and presentation. This unit usually takes 3 weeks - 9 hours to complete.

A variety of resources for the play units 3.1/3.2 and 3.4. There is a work pack for 3.2 and 3.1 and power points for 3.1 and 3.4. I have included the observational assessment criteria which i made into a work pack for students to complete in placement. This covered all observational criteria for units 3.2 and 3.4. It allows for cluster assessment. For some of the power points i have uploaded the plain power point as well as the colourful one. This is because i often print my power points out to support students with learning needs. It allows me to print or photocopy on to buff paper.

Equality and diveristy unit work pack.

This is a work pack which I have created to cover task 4 unit 2 of ACDC qualification. It is organised in the right order that students could use the information to complete the task. The students have found this resource really useful. The extension tasks provide differentialtion for the more able student. I am aware that as it uploaded, the pages changed, so please do change the layout to suit.

We teach year 9 Childcare, but do not follow an industry recognised scheme of work, I have used the CACHE level 1 course to create a few work packs. This gives our learners the underlying knowledge they need to start the level 2 course in year 10. These workpacks are used each week for one lesson, and last a term of learning. I created this resource before there was a text book for this qualification, wanting to identify exactly what needed to be included in the tasks . This helped my teaching and planning, and also helped other teachers in the department when planning and marking. I have not given these sheets to students although it has been written so that students could be given this. (This the qualification on a plate!, so not ethical to give to students, unless for revising for exam. )This is for the whole qualification.

This is a work pack that i created for the first task. This task has become simpler over the last couple of years, but the information in this work pack will support task 1 unit 1 and revision for the exam. I have added a power point which gives the basic information about the types of provision.

4 packs of revision. This is unit 3 for the ACDC qualification. This is unit 1 and unit 2 combined. I print these on coloured paper and for some students print on A3 paper. They read and highlight the key words and answer the questions at the end. This works well for our students.
