This is a work pack which I have created to cover task 4 unit 2 of ACDC qualification. It is organised in the right order that students could use the information to complete the task. The students have found this resource really useful. The extension tasks provide differentialtion for the more able student. I am aware that as it uploaded, the pages changed, so please do change the layout to suit.

This is based on the text book, but I have made it into a work pack that the students can work through either independently or with teacher support. After each section there are a few multiple choice questions.

This is a work pack that i created for the first task. This task has become simpler over the last couple of years, but the information in this work pack will support task 1 unit 1 and revision for the exam. I have added a power point which gives the basic information about the types of provision.

One power point to help support students with the analysis of the longitudinal study. I go through this with the students once they have completed their longitudinal observations and activities.

This is the whole unit for the classroom based learning. (unit 3.5) I have created a work pack and presentation. This unit usually takes 3 weeks - 9 hours to complete.

I have adapted this resource to show how the units of the CACHE EYP level 2 qualification can be gained through reflective accounts for knowledge and practical evidence. It allows for learners and assessors to sign to validate the evidence. I find that it helps the learners keep on track and for placements to know what is expected. This resource supplements observations and other work products.

Unit 1 worksheets for the necessary knowledge required for the tasks. Each page is a different task, or section of the task. I print them out on different colours. All the D tasks one colour, C tasks a different colour. Students are able to choose which sheet they use depending on their target grade. This allows for independence and differentiation. I have been teaching this qualification since it started. We have found that these worksheets work very well. I have included a sheet which i display on the wall in order that students can choose the right worksheet depending which grade they are aiming for. This is an 18 page document.

I have used many of the wonderful powerpoints available on TES for this unit 5. They have been great. I have created an assignment help for once the assignment has been set. I have also created a workbook that will help students write the assignment. I used this booklet after each section in order that they structured their thinking. (This is before the assignment had been handed out) By using the booklet and then the information on the worksheets, this helps them to create an assignment. This has been helpful to students who are lacking in self esteem to write such a long assignment. I have added as a word document and a pdf.
